Nath Tavares is a globally raised singer-songwriter redefining what it means to arrive at music on your own terms. Born in Brazil and shaped by life across Mexico, China, the United States, France, and Portugal, she creates songs that blend theatrical storytelling with contemporary Latin, urban, and pop energy — a sound informed as much by Broadway stages as by the quiet contradictions of modern ambition.

Her relationship with performance began early. By preschool graduation, Nath already knew music would define her life. At nine, newly arrived in Mexico, she was selected to perform in a Mexican National Anthem choir competition despite being Brazilian — an early sign that crossing cultural boundaries would become central to her identity. By fifteen she had written and produced her first album, a project that was never officially released after a family move to China. Years of theater and musical productions followed, with major roles in Aida, Kiss Me, Kate, and Thoroughly Modern Millie, shaping a performer equally comfortable with narrative depth and spectacle.

Yet Nath's path did not follow a straight line to the stage. She studied Communication and Consumer Behavior at the University of Southern California, got a Strategy and Innovation certificate at MIT Sloan, and later earned an MBA at INSEAD as a Forté Foundation Fellow. She built an international career in digital innovation, product strategy, and generative AI. From the outside, it was a story of global corporate success. Internally, however, the creative voice she had carried since childhood never stopped asking for space.

Her return to music emerged from that tension — the realization that achievement without authenticity feels incomplete. Today, her work explores the cost of living by other people's expectations, blending humor, introspection, and bold theatricality. Her lyrics move between vulnerability and wit, turning existential questions into anthems of self-direction.

Now based in Portugal, Nath Tavares is building her debut era through a series of releases leading toward a full-length album. For her, stepping onto the stage is not a reinvention but a reconciliation — the moment where every country, every career pivot, and every version of herself finally converges into one voice.
